You are free to find a competitive hosting option ( I recommend IONOS to start out with as they are just so competitively priced and easy to use) – but your free to go anywhere. Just be make sure it can host a WordPress website.

Startup Business Website - Buyer Beware

Some developers/businesses do offer cheap even free websites in return for tying you into contracts for expensive hosting which will cost more in the long term. Nothing wrong in them doing this but it is buyer beware. They are making money on the “parts”. You can go and buy the hosting directly which is much economical. Some even make a charge for releasing the Website. I do not, it is yours straight away. WordPress is a really popular Content Management System which put simply means it is a trusted easy way to change and manage what you choose to put onto your website.

    Yes, you can help yourself hugely by looking into this. Take more time working out what you want your website found for than what it will look like.

    In my opinion no, you would be better served getting an SEO Expert to find out what you need to have in your site ‘keywords’ to get your business found where you want it to be. Paying for ranking or sponsorship is expensive and short term it will drop again when you stop paying. The cost of an SEO expert will maintain your ranking but it will still take time to get there. There are no real short cuts.

  • How quickly should I expect Google to rank my Website ?

    A well written website with SEO can expect to be found in 3-6months. There is no formula and no specific time frame that google will send out it’s ‘spiders’ on the web to find it.

  • What can I do to make Google find my website quicker ?

    Make sure it is well written and clear in the code. You are not carrying lots of ‘redundant code’ that is not used by the Website. This is where a bespoke website that I provide is better instead of a drag and drop website builder.

  • Can I use my current logo and include socials

    absolutely yes! socials really help to get you found together with the Website
